Strength connects AVL DiTEST and MAHA

Together. Reliable. Innovative.

AVL DiTEST and MAHA, two leading suppliers of high-tech workshop equipment, have announced that they are collaborating in the field of emissions measuring technology. In future, MAHA will be integrating AVL DiTEST's emissions measuring technology into its test lanes and including it in its product portfolio. AVL DiTEST will supply MAHA with the required products and components. This new cooperation was announced during the Automechanika trade fair.

Both companies are highly regarded for their expertise in the industry:
AVL DiTEST, well-known as a high-tech diagnostics and measurement technology specialist, has been a strong partner for workshops, test centres and vehicle manufacturers across the globe for over 20 years. In addition to the fields of measurement technology, climate control servicing, diagnostics and electromobility, AVL DiTEST has also been a leader in the area of emissions measuring technology for decades now.
MAHA is one of the world's leading manufacturers of vehicle testing and lifting technology with more than 50 years of well-founded expertise in this area. The company stands out due to its vertical range of manufacture and, as a general contractor, is the world market leader for test lanes.

Together. Reliable. Innovative.
The success of the two companies, MAHA and AVL DiTEST, has been built on similar foundations. Both companies stand for quality, innovative strength and technological leadership. “We share the same DNA,” explains AVL DiTEST Managing Director Gerald Lackner. “This spirit, which I greatly appreciate about the team at AVL DiTEST, is also present at MAHA. We are very proud to be able to supply products and components to this exceptional partner. We have held each other in high esteem for many years.” The first productive discussions were held at Automechanika 2018 – and they were not to be the last. Numerous further meetings followed and the cooperation began to take shape until at last, in the summer of 2021, the contract was signed.

Strength connects
For customers, this cooperation represents the ideal enhancement of two market leaders and offers a significant benefit: integration of the leading emissions measurement technology into the leading test lane.
AVL DiTEST provides MAHA with a comprehensive product portfolio for emissions measurement. The product range includes complete emissions stations as well as individual modules integrated into the MAHA control system for seamless interaction between the test components.
MAHA will expand its product portfolio in the area of exhaust gas measurement technology to include AVL DiTEST products. Of course, this cooperation also covers the area of particle concentration measuring – a hot topic at the moment. In-house MAHA devices will initially remain in the inventory, but will not be further developed. Depending on the country in question, MAHA will partially or completely switch to emission measurement technology from AVL DiTEST.
