Volkswagen expands their cooperation with AVL DiTEST.

The solution is specifically developed for VW and will be used in all Volkswagen AG service centers in the future. AVL DiTEST has supplied Volkswagen AG with the speed measurement device DiSpeed as well as engine- and emission testing device for years. The most recent measurement technique assignment however exceeds this scale by far.

The new measurement technique module is capable of being fully integrable in the modular VW vehicle diagnostic concept. Thus it enables to offer a consistently high end repair quality in all VW service centers, also running on mobile vehicle diagnostic hardware. Therefore the diagnosis will turn out more efficient and flexible.

Volkswagen also expects a considerable increase in efficiency in the service center field of the new measurement technique module. The modular concept allows an optimization of hardware investment, depending on the extent of the assignment. Technical updates can easily be maintained even during operation. The software is being programmed in numerous languages for worldwide application.
